In partnership with SWA, Coleman & Associates was tasked with creating landscape elements for the Texas Rangers Ballpark sports and entertainment complex. While the stadium is the main attraction, the 46-acre site functions beyond game days to accommodate weekly fairs, farmers markets, festivals, music events and more. The pedestrian experience around the stadium includes multiple landscaped plazas characterized by a drought-tolerant plant palette representative of the native Texas landscape. The planting design complements the scale and texture of the stadium while material choices reduce the project’s environmental impact.
