Multiple shaded seating areas around the building’s exterior expand its capacity as a place for gathering and learning. Thoughtful details such as building foundation planting and the use of historic materials reclaimed from demolished Bizzell Hall throughout the design elevate the building’s surroundings and integrate it with neighboring Matthew Gaines Plaza.
