In Memoriam

Jan’s career started at Coleman & Associates in 1995. She served as Partner and firm Co-Leader for 27 years, working from our San Antonio office until 2022. She was an expert in many areas of design, and specialized in tree and natural area preservation, xeriscape landscapes, and hardscape design, among others. She was a Licensed Irrigator and LEED professional, expertise that continues to be invaluable to C&A’s many clients. She managed many of the firm’s most significant projects, providing critical quality assurance and leading our construction documentation standards. Her legacy as a Landscape Architect lives on in the hundreds of projects, large and small, she completed across Texas and the countless industry friends she made during her tenure in the profession.
